Associate

McGeady Becher Cortese Williams P.C. is recruiting an Associate to join our thriving practice to assist in organizing and representing special districts, general oversight of district operations, contracting, elections, debt issuance and compliance.  Previous experience working with municipal entities, homeowners’ associations, or in real estate would be an advantage. The ideal candidate will have 2-8 years’ experience. This position requires a self-motivated individual who wants to establish themselves in the industry.  A Colorado law license in “good standing” or the ability to become admitted to the Colorado Bar is required.  Compensation: Salary will range between $100,000 and $125,000, depending on experience. A discretionary bonus may also be available based on performance. This role is eligible for the following firm benefits: paid time off, firm paid medical insurance for the employee and their dependents, employer contribution to health savings account, life insurance, disability insurance, voluntary insurance including supplemental life, dental, vision, and employer contribution to individual’s 401(k) plan after one year of service.  Currently, our office is working a hybrid schedule requiring in office attendance two days per week.  New employees are required to work in the office five days a week for their first six months in order to acclimate to the Firm and role.

Paralegal

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Paralegal.  The position requires a highly motivated candidate with a minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience. A background in Special Districts, Municipal & Local Governments would be a plus.  The ideal candidate will welcome the opportunity to learn new skills and work independently while contributing to a team environment, be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and Outlook.  Experience with NetDocs would be preferred.  The right candidate must possess strong organizational abilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, research and writing skills and the ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to meet deadlines.  Undergraduate degree and/or paralegal certificate required.  Salary range is $70,000 – $90,000, depending on experience. This role is eligible for the following firm benefits: paid time off, firm paid medical insurance for the employee and their dependents, employer contribution to health savings account, life insurance, disability insurance, voluntary insurance including supplemental life, dental, vision, and employer contribution to individual’s 401(k) plan equal to 3% of salary after one year of service. New employees are required to work in the office five days a week for their first six months to acclimate to the Firm and role.  After six months, employees have the option to work a hybrid schedule of two days in the office and three days remote.
